Zhuang, Xiao Wei 庄小蔚
庄小蔚先生是当代中国第一个在高校中建立玻璃工作室的人。他从英国的胡佛汉顿艺术学院毕业并获得玻璃艺术专业的文学硕士学位，2000年在上海大学创建了玻璃工作室，并将现代艺术理念带回到这个传统的手工艺术领域，使之焕发新的光彩。他是中国玻璃工作室运动的先锋。他的作品曾多次在国内及国外展出，并被美术馆及个人收藏。
Zhuang Xiao Wei has established the first glass studio in China. After obtaining his master’s degree in glass art from Wolverhampton University in the UK, he returned to China in 2000, bringing back new ideas to infuse a traditional art form. Zhuang is a leader in the studio glass movement in China, and his works have been exhibited in China, Hong Kong, Great Britain, the United States and Germany as part of public and private collections.
